Amendments

I tried making german pancakes again and they came out more like they are supposed to. I just thought I would let you all know that:)
I also made some more thin mints and I have some great tips to share. Instead of making balls and smushing them, roll the dough out and use cookie cutters. I lightly floured the surface and rolled the dough really thin then used small hearts and circles. They came out so perfect and much tastier. I also made a lot more this way (I think I got 64 cookies instead of the 28 I got last time). Here they are drying after being dipped. I used red, pink, and white sprinkles for Valentines day.
I am just so excited how nicely these came out. Especially making the circles because now it truly looks like a thin mint.

Those are SOOOOO cute! I'm mucho impressed.

You know, you're making me hungry. I'll have to go scrounge around and see what there is because, I used to think I baked kindof often and then I met a girl named Katrina. hee hee.

Katrina, I LOVE your blog! I check it every day hoping there's something new. I have a really good recipe for meatballs that I'll send to you and you can look it over. I'm not a huge meatball fan, but these are delicious.

Becky- I'm so glad you like my blog. I try to have something new at least every other day but I go through days of making really good things and then sometimes not making anything for a while. And I don't like posting a recipe without a picture. I would love a meatball recipe. I have found a few but I haven't decide what to try yet.

Kayli- And look how skinny you are and how NOT skinny I am! Plus you make all your own bread and I don't. I wish I did that!

HA! You are totally as skinny as me and more so!!
Plus you run, so you're definitely in better shape. I think about working out...once in a while. What a wuss.
Anyway, thank you THANK YOU for bringing over cookies! They are so scrumptious. Brett totally said, "These are like the girl scout cookies" so they're a really good imitation. I'm so glad that I'm such a good moocher that I have got to sample TWO of your yummy desserts in the last four days or so!! Maybe you guys shouldn't ever move... :)
