White Chocolate Popcorn
The YUMMIEST popcorn EVER!! I made tons of this as part of the goodies I gave to neighbors at Christmas. It is a great treat to have at gatherings too. I love how it looks like normal popcorn but then you try it and surprise!....it tastes so delicious.Ingredients
3 bags of 98% fat free popcorn (Orville)
1 bag of Wilton white chocolate melting chips
Peppermint oil
Pop the popcorn in the microwave. Spread on cookie sheet to remove the seeds. (I just poured it on and then picked it up by handfuls and put in a big, no HUGE bowl, so that it left the seeds behind.)
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth and then add a few drops of peppermint oil. Mix up and then pour over the popcorn. Mix and mix and mix until all the popcorn is coated.
Dump onto wax paper and let cool and harden. This is the first time I have used this huge bowl which we got as a wedding gift 6 years ago. I can't believe we've moved it around with us and I've never used it. BUT I'm glad I did because it came in super handy for this. Trust me....you need a huge bowl!
