I always hate my cookies too! I'm constantly in search of new chocolate chip cookie recipes, hoping that some day I'll find one that turns out well. I'll have to try this one out.
Ditto...whenever I have to make cookies for something, I always just make cookie bars, and cook them in a cake pan so I can cut them into squares. They're pretty hard to screw up that way. haha. But, I'll have to try these, they look yummy!
I made these cookies yesterday to give to the girls I visit teach. They came out well. I didn't have enough chocolate chips for all of them, so I made half with chocolate chips, then half with broken pieces of peppermint patties. I learned a lesson: peppermint patties in cookies don't work very well! They oozed out and were kind of a mess, but the majority of them ended up looking okay and they tasted pretty good, though regular choc. chips are better.
Those cookies look soooo good! I can't get over how talented you are: cooking, sewing, etc. I'm jealous. You need to send some of that talent my way!
