Spinach Strawberry Salad

I've had this recipe ready to post forever and I just kept forgetting about it. This is the most delicious salad and always a hit at big gatherings. Kind of out of season right now but if you are willing to pay $5 for a container of strawberries, I think you should go make this!
Ingredients

baby spinach
strawberries
craisins
feta cheese
toasted almonds

Dressing

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup raspberry vinegar
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 cup oil
1 cup smashed strawberries

Make as big a salad as you need. I like caramelizing the almonds by putting a little sugar in a frying pan and heating it until it turns liquid and then quickly stirring the almonds in. Then dump it on wax paper to cool.

To make the dressing, just put all the ingredients into a blender. I usually just use a little over half the container of strawberries sliced up for the salad and then the rest I use for the dressing. I don't measure how much. I also use only about 1/2 cup of oil.

Right before serving the salad put the dressing on and toss. You most likely won't use all the dressing. It makes a ton!
