Ribbon Board

I saw this idea on this blog and thought it was a great way to store my bows. Now I can see what I have and what I need to make and they are all neat and tidy. It also isn't a bad decoration for the wall in the babies room.

All you need is:

a canvas board (any size you want, I used 16x20)
white fabric
batting
ribbon
staples

Just stretch the batting then the fabric around the board and staple it to the back. Make sure it is secure. Then pick out the ribbon you want. You can even layer it or just keep it simple. Then I actually found it easier to hot glue the ribbon on the back side. I was having trouble getting my staples to go through so many layers. If you have a staple gun I bet that would work great but I was just using a regular stapler. Then you can clip you bows onto the board.

Would you even need to put the fabric and the batting down? Just wandering! Very cute! I'll have to make one for Lauren, now that I started making bows!

So you have two little kiddos at home and you're STILL crafting and blogging about it? I'm so impressed. And that's super cute. :)

Cortnie-

I have an old post that tells how to make the bows.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Chrissy-

I did this craft before I had the baby and I had the pictures taken. I just hadn't posted about it yet. So far I haven't done a single craft since having Emery!! I can't seem to find time.

Melissa-

I guess it is up to you. I think it just looks more finished but it probably doesn't matter if you are going to cover it all with bows.
