Sorry it has been so long. I was on vacation, then I moved, then we didn't have Internet for a week. So now I am back and I have this super cool craft project for you all to try.

Supplies:

1 old tie
cotton stuffing
wire
felt for eyes
ribbon or felt for tongue

Basically all you do is put the wire in first (bend the ends back onto itself so it doesn't poke through tie) then stuff the tie with the stuffing. This was really hard and I had to use a dowel to jam it in little by little. Then I sewed up the end by hand. Then I made little eyes and hand stitched them on. I was going to just glue on googly eyes but I figured that wasn't as safe for my little one. You can do whatever you want though. Then I thought lots of ribbon would make a cute tongue so I just sewed that on to the underside. This is a project you can do in one day. You can even make really cool looking snakes if your husband lets you use a cooler tie:)

Oh, and I guess I should say I got the idea from my sister showing me it in the Parents magazine.
