Easter Bunnies
Growing up we had little bunnies like this that were always filled with jelly beans on Easter morning. I loved them and I remember we always fought over whose was whose. I asked my mom about them and she sent me one of the old ragged bunnies and I had plans on copying it to make my own. I never got around to it but when she came to visit after I had my baby, she was amazing and got to work making a pattern for me. We whipped up some cute bunnies in no time and I couldn't stop making them because I wanted one of every color. Believe me, these are addicting to make- and super fast and easy!Supplies
*Print pattern here
*different colors of felt
*googly eyes
*pompoms
*embroidery thread
*sewing machine
*scissors
*hot glue gun
1. Print pattern and cut out all your pieces.2. Sew the insides of the ears onto the outsides of ears. Just top stitch around the inside of the ear as close to the edge as possible.
3. Cut a small hole in the middle of only ONE piece of the body.
4. Sew the bottom onto the backside (body without hole) of the body. Just sew the length of the bottom piece.
5. Fold the bottom piece so it looks like this. Basically take the top part of it that you didn't sew and bring it down so it is now the bottom curve of your body.
6. Now pin it all together. Put the body with the hole on top of the folded piece and then pin in the ears and the feet. Top stitch around the whole body making sure you catch the backside so there aren't any holes. Also make sure you put the ears far enough in so they stand up. Just catch the tip of the inside ear in the stitching and it should be fine.
7. Here is a closer picture so you can see how it is sewn. After you sew it all, glue the eyes and nose on and either embroider the mouth or draw it with a marker. Then glue the face onto the body.
8. Fill with candy and you have a cute jelly bean holder for your Easter baskets.
(I wasn't very good at writing this tutorial so please leave a comment if you have any questions and I will try to answer them better.)
*A big thank-you to my husband for figuring out how to make a link of the pattern for you to print out. Hopefully it works but let me know if you have trouble printing the pattern. This is the first time we've tried anything like that.

Katrina, I'm sooo going to make these. The kids will LOVE it! And I already have most everything needed. I'm way excited to begin. Just so you know, the file worked fabulously!
Those are adorable! But, how do you have the time and energy to ...
1. Make them
2. Make a blog about them
I'm so impressed. I think we'll just do a basket for Spencer. And when I say "for Spencer" I mean for us. hehe.
