Hand and Foot Prints

I saw this idea on a website and thought it was so cute. I was thinking they would be great wall hangings for a play room or just my sons bedroom. It is a great project because you can let your child help paint and then before you get ready to do the prints, even everything out.

Supplies:

2 canvases (any size, I used 16x20)
Acrylic paint
sponge brushes

Just evenly paint the whole canvas and when you are ready, take your child's clean hand and press it into the wet paint. Repeat with opposite hand and then feet on separate canvas.

You can get a set of two canvases at Hobby Lobby and use their 40% off coupon. I think I got mine for $5. Very cheap art project.
I had used a lighter blue at first but then re-did it to make it darker so the hand prints would show up. The only bad thing was I wasn't thinking that there was blue underneath and not white so the hand prints didn't end up showing up as well.
