Apron and dish towel

I just wanted to show the cute apron I made up with the matching dish towel. I love the towel a lot. It is so simple and can be made with just your scraps of fabric. The apron I just made up myself. I used an apron I had to get the basic shape and then just kind of made it up as I went. It is cute but fits a little weird in some spots. I think half aprons are cuter but they don't seem very practical because I always get dirty on my stomach which a half apron wouldn't cover.

that is just too cute! I want to make myself an apron! Do you suggest I get a regular one to copy first?

I don't think that you necessarily need to have an apron. Basically you just need to figure out how long you want it on you. Then fold the fabric in half and cut a slight curve to make the "armholes" (sides of the apron). Just hem around all the edges and sew on the tie and neck strap.

Sorry that is very vague. If you have any questions just ask. Maybe if I get some time I will do a tutorial for it.

Another option is just search for free apron tutorials and there are tons of blogs with different patterns for aprons.

Where did you get the hand towels from? I saw the towels you sent to Alicia for Christmas and loved them, and I loved the particular towel you used. Thanks!
